Sean Éadaí / Old Clothes – Liberties Recycling

Táimid fós ag glacadh le sean éadaí. Tóg mála lán isteach go dtí an oifig.
We are still collecting bags of old clothes for recycling. Just drop bags into the office. Each bag raises €4 for our school.

Maratón Beag / Mini Marathon

Tréaslaimid leis an 16 atá ag rith sa Mharatón Beag i Mí an Mheithimh.
We thank the 16 who have signed up to run the Mini Marathon for the school in June.

We will send home Sponsor Cards in May for this event.

Aonach an tSamhraidh / Summer Fair

Beidh Aonach an tSamhraidh ar siúl ar an Domhnach 17ú Meitheamh.
The Summer Fair will take place on Sunday 17th June.
An Coiste are looking for a big effort this year in the “Home Baked” items.
There will be lots of stalls and the Coiste are looking for donations of items of Bric-a-Brac, unwanted gifts, cd's, books, toys etc (no clothes these will be collected through clothes recycling).
Lots of volunteers needed on the day please text Tammy 087 7858840 if you can spare a couple of hours.

Beidh Oíche Eolais ann do thuismitheoirí na scoile chun an plean seo a mhíniú níos mó agus níos doimhne. Fáilte roimh thuistí go léir.

The school improvement plan is well underway now.
We have selected our 3 areas for improvement
· Irish Language
· Standardised Tests (What are “Sten” scores that children get after tests?)
· Aistear (What is “Aistear”? Can parents get involved?)
We will host an information night for parents to explain this all a bit more.
