4-10 yrs. Children and adults can experience art works and art making together, in the company
of two of IMMA’s gallery staff. Free and drop in.
Sunday Sketching, Hugh Lane Gallery. Sunday 3st January, 3-4pm, 7+ yrs. During these
workshops we explore paintings, sculpture and some of the architectural features of
Charlemont House through discussion and drawing. Free.
Celebrating St Brigid’s Day, Collins Barracks, 31st January. Learn how to make a
traditional St Brigid’s cross and then listen to some of the magical stories of this great Irish

Punch and Judy, Streets of Temple Bar (Trad Fest), 29th and 30th January, 12.15,
1.45 and 2.45. Your chance to see Punch at his wildest and most boisterous, in a new
version of the classic tale. Presented like a live cartoon, for the very first time this
production fuses the traditional puppet theatre with the best of Irish traditional music!

Temple Bar Trad Fest, Temple Bar, 27th - 31st January. A celebration of
traditional Irish music with free entertainment over 5 days. Some family events
included street theatre, Pipers on the street, a trad fest market and culture workshops.
