Bord Bainistíochta (B O M) Nollaig Gaelscoil na Lochanna
Ráiteas Aontaithe 8ú Nollaig 2009
The Bord Bainistíochta met on 8ú Nollaig.
Go Raibh Maith Agaibh:
Go raibh mile maith agat to all who attended the recent Coiste na dTuistí AGM.
There was a great turn out. Fáilte roimh an Coiste nua, and a special slán agus go riabh maith agat to Ciarán who has been the chairperson for the past two years. Ciarán has worked hard and been totally dedicated to the school, but now for work reasons he has to step aside. Go raibh maith agat Ciarán, great work and enjoy the break!!
Airgead / Finances:
The Board approved a list of payments, including a new water cooler for Muiteóir Amy’s classroom. Any new equipment purchased is subject to the equipment being moveable to our new home.
The ICT grant has been received and the staff in consultation with the board are working on a plan to best use this grant for new equipment.
Kilmalum:
The board is still awaiting written confirmation of Department backing. All conversations are positive and constant contact is being maintained.
Múinteoir Eithne:
The board is sorry to hear of the relapse of Eithne’s back injury. Táimíd ag smaoineamh ort, tá súil againn go mbeidh tú arias linn go luath Eithne.
Ba mhaith linn beannachtaí na Nollag a guí ar pobal na scoile agus a mhuintir, agus gach dea guí don ath bhliain.
We wish all the school community and their families a Happy Christmas and a peaceful 2010.
