Bord Bainistíochta (B O M) Meith 2010Ráiteas Aontaithe
21ú meitheamh 2010
The Bord Bainistíochta met on 21ú Meitheamh and approved the following statements:
Cill Moloma
The Board remains confident that we still are on track for the move. We have been assured that builders and other teams are on standby to begin as soon as all the details have been sorted. Timelines are tight but we trust all will be done in time.
The board heard plans for the pending move including:
pack up – last week of June
placement of prefabs – first 2 weeks of August
in house fitting - last 2 weeks of August
The board approved hiring a removal company to pack, store and move the school to its new home.
Pick-up, drop off and parking arrangements:
As we get used to drop off and parking arrangements in September, the Board of Management will take charge at the front of the school for the first 3 weeks, until the 1st Board meeting of the new school year. Please be patient and follow all instructions as we will all be on a steep learning curve at the start. Go raibh maith agaibh.
Foireann 2010/11
The board would like to say slán leat agus go raibh maith agat to Múinteoir Jacqueline. Her hard work, dedication and especially her way with the páistí, are much appreciated and she’ll be missed.
The Board extend a Fáilte Uí Cheallaigh to our 2 new members of staff, Eilís de Grant agus Karla Ní Mhuadaigh.
Múinteoir Eilís has already spent 3 months with the Naíonán bheaga last year. She will be teaching naíonáin bheaga next year. Múinteoir Karla will be teaching naíonáin mhóra.
The Board is delighted with both of these new appointees and look forward to working together into the future.
Betty’s hours will be increased from 10 to 12.5 to include the new classroom.
Fíona’s hours will be increased from 25 to 27.5 for extra duties.
Táimid ag fás!!
Airgead
The Board approved an end of year list of payments.
The board approved the purchase of 2 new Apple Macs for September (one for the seomra nua and one for tacaíocht foghlama (learning support))
The purchase of a dishwasher for the seomra foirne (staff room) was also approved.
Combined payment:
There is a surplus of €10 from the combined payment. Therefore each child will have an automatic credit of €10 towards next year’s combined payment. The figure for the combined payment will be reviewed in September.
Coiste na dTuistí
The Board reviewed Coiste plans (fundraising and non fundraising) for the coming year from the Coiste na dTuistí. The Board appreciates the enthusiasm and hard work from the Coiste and look forward to working together amach anseo. The Coiste are an essential part of the school and without their support the school could not function.
Imeachtaí Scoile
The Board is delighted to learn of recent and upcoming imeachtaí scoile (school events) including Seachtain Mata, Turas Scoile, Lá Spóirt,
Plean Scoile
The board approved the revised plean scoile (school plan) for next year.
Samhradh
Guíonn an Bord Bainistíochta samhradh slán síochanta ar gach clann.
The board wishes all school staff, pupils and their families a lovely leathanta saoire.
